1952
The beginnings
This is the year Nellusco Marchi founded the MARCHI company in Modena. The company immediately had its own internal production department and began to create the first customised contract furniture for shops, introducing the concept of complete supply.
When his son Maurizio joined the company, the clientele increased and diversified and MARCHI became a point of reference for all those who were looking for quality furnishings for hotels, restaurants and bars. Our interior design concept and our furniture production processes quickly won over a large number of customers.
1990
Enlargement
After consolidating our know-how, the time came to grow and offer our customers even more satisfactory solutions. Thus, in 1990, the MARCHI company expanded its production structure to include metalworking, wood varnishing and a professional design service as part of its furniture production.
In a short time our company became a specialised centre of interior design for shops of all kinds. It also specialised in the contract furnishing of accommodation and collective spaces throughout Italy and Europe.
2000
Internationality
The year 2000 was the year of internationality for us. We began to offer even more complex and diverse interior design solutions and to initiate increasingly complex furniture production processes. This made us stand out even more within our industry and encouraged us to expand our boundaries.
In the same year, the MARCHI company also made a name for itself on the international market, which is why we decided to open new branches. These branches would enable us to take our furniture and accessories to many parts of the world. Our plans quickly took shape.
2001
Cuba
In 2001 we opened our commercial branch in Havana, Cuba. This enabled us from the outset to skilfully manage the local market, offering a complete service in the field of contract furniture. The opening of the branch was followed by expansion into the Middle Eastern market.
2005
United Arab Emirates
A few years after the inauguration of the commercial office in Havana of Cuba, MARCHI opened another branch outside Italy, this time in Dubai, in the Arab Emirates. This new location led us to become in a short time a real point of reference also in the Middle Eastern market.
2020
Evolution
Every year we develop tailor-made projects for large companies and private individuals. Luxury bakery design, hotel interior design, restaurant interior design, customised ice cream parlour design, bakery interior design, customised oven design and much more: this is what we do. From the design to the production of furniture, through to assembly, we offer a 360-degree service, capable of satisfying the most diverse requirements.
Our future is not yet written. However, we know not only what we do today: we also know that we will continue to improve, precisely because the world of contract furniture and interior design is constantly evolving. We will do our utmost to keep up, continuing to guarantee quality and excellence, diversified solutions and a highly professional service.
